Mainly Because He Had Been Looking For Years For That Certain Truck.
One That Was Original, and Very Solid.
Well, He Bought It and Drove It For A While, Then Decided To Have Himself A Super Sleeper 5-Window Pick-Up.
So, He Sent It To A well Known Custom Builder, and Told Him To Build Him the Ultimate 5-Window, But, Make It Appear Stock! Well, 1 Year, and $78K Later, He Picked Up His Dream Truck.
I Don't Know Where To Start! For starters, They Installed A New 383-383 Stroker Engine, and Put the Latest Snipper EFI Fuel Injection System On It.
They Also, Ordered Him A Complete HEIDTS Front End, which Included Tubular A-Arms, Adjustable Coil Over Shocks, Power Mustang II Rack-N-Pinion Steering, and Power Disc Brakes, with Slotted and Cross Drilled Rotors.
They Also Installed Him A Complete Rear End Set Up By Competition Engineering, Which Included A Custom 4-Link 9 Inch Ford Rear End, With Adjustable Coil-Over Shocks, (3:
23 Ratio).
They installed Gas Tank Re-location Kit From LMC Trucks, and Put In Where I really Like It, On the Drivers Side Rear Fender, Instead Of In the Bed.
With the Adjustable Coil-Over Shocks, You Can Now Set The Stance Anywhere You Want It, and Still Make the Truck Handle Like A Go-Cart.
Under The Hood, You Will Also See Vintage Heat & A/C, Power Steering, and A New Set Of March Pulleys.
A New Radiator with Electric Fan, Alum.
Radiator, and A New Set Of Ceramic Coated Headers Were Also Installed.
A Closer Look, and You Will See All LOKAR Cables, Dip Sticks, and A Hidden MOROSO Power Kill Switch.
NOW, On the Interior, Well, They Did An Awesome Job As Well.
For Starters, They Dyna-Matted Everything.
They Installed A New ididit Tilt Column, New Dakota Digital VHX Gauges, A New Custom Auto Sound System with Big Hidden Amps and Speakers, New Vintage Heat & A/C, New LOKAR Pedals, New Rain Gear Electric Wipers, New Custom Seat and Door Panels, Complete New American Auto Wiring Harness, and Yes, A Red Comfort Grip Steering Wheel, Which Is My Favorite.
