Manager Radiation Oncology

Responsibilities Market Manager of Radiation Oncology is a registered professional nurse who functions under the direction of the Hospital President and in collaboration with the system chief oncology officer, VP Oncology Service line and senior nursing leaders. The Market Manager of Radiation Oncology requires clinical experience, self-direction, attention to detail and follow-up, and ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, families and the public. In conjunction with physicians and members of the WellStar Cancer Leadership Teams, is responsible for guidance and coordination of services for oncology patients and their caregivers through the continuum of care. Responsible for the operations of the cancer services team members and policies and procedures for related cancer services defined at the system level and implemented locally. Collaborating with the VP of Oncology Services and other defined cancer leadership to assure programs are in place to meet operational, clinical and customer service goals. Serves as the mentor for the support services program and establish positive working relationships within the team and with the multidisciplinary groups that interact with the team which includes physicians. Maintains metrics for performance and assist with education and orientation activities. The Market Manager of Radiation Oncology, through the development of a strong consultative relationship with the Medical Director for Radiation Oncology and the Chief Therapist for Radiation Therapy, will be responsible for and oversee all aspects of Radiation Therapy, as well as other support service personnel. Utilizes managerial skill to support to the team to achieve short term and long term goals. Provides updates to leadership on utilization of services and assists in planning for upcoming needs. Provides leadership in executing the plans for current fiscal year and develops financial plans for upcoming year. Qualifications Required Minimum Education: Must have a bachelor's degree and be a graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology School (JRCERT). Masters preferred. Required Minimum Experience: 5 -7 years of oncology experiencerequired, Radiation Therapy experience highly desirable. Previous leadership/management position in oncology preferred.   Required Minimum Certification: Licensed by ARRT as RT(T) (Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy). Required Minimum Skills: Self-directed and able to organize and complete several tasks / projects simultaneously. Extensive understanding of oncology patient care. Proficient in review, analysis and maintenance of medical records and other patient care information. Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ability to educate others as a positive change agent. Ability to communicate in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong customer service skills, inter and intra departmental coordination of patient care activities and strong detail orientation. Job Id: 17399

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
