Sorter Application Engineer for a plant near Atlanta, GA in Hiram! The Sr.
Application Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales team with CAD concepts and layouts for sorters, working with customers to build sorter layouts that meet their requirements, and supervising 2-3 application engineers.

leadership roles) Support the sale of Sorters per Annual Goals Support the Sales team for concepts, layouts, cost estimates, quotations, presentations, proposals, review of T&Cs, and other activities needed to close orders Provide occasional support for rest of Americas region (Canada, Mexico and Brazil) Interface with the customer to build customer approval layout drawings to meet customer requirements Identify changes between the initial proposal/PO and approval drawing to capture any change orders required.
Perform system throughput calculations Create 3d simplified concept models of chutes designs to be handed off to project engineering for final design Conduct an engineering kickoff meeting to handover project requirements and completed approval drawing to Project Engineering Support Project Engineering group throughout the project as needed Lead a team of 2-3 other Application Engineers(AE) which focus on other product lines Review the work of the other AEs for completeness and accuracy Qualifications Associate degree in mechanical engineering or a similar degree (Required) Bachelor's degree (Strongly Preferred) Must have at least 3-5 years of AUTOCAD experience (Required) Knowledge of Inventor and Emulate3D software (Preferred) 5-10 years of experience with 1 year of team leadership in the Material Handling industry.
